Bikes are available for all courses and tests. This includes automatic motorcycles ("scooters").

We have training centres in Morecambe (seven days a week) also at.

Compulsory Basic Training (C.B.T.)

This is a legal requirement which everyone must take and complete before taking to the road on a motorcycle or scooter. This course is usually conducted over one day with the first part of the day spent riding in the safety of an off-road area before going out on the road.

We conduct C.B.T courses seven days a week at our authorised training sites. Fully Qualified Instructors will pass on the skills required for going out on the road.

Once you have completed CBT, you will be able to ride on the road on a machine of up to 125cc, with L-plates. Your CBT certificate lasts for two years.

CBT is not a test. It does not allow you to carry a passenger, or ride without L-plates.

Direct Access Training (D.A.S.)

Direct Access is a very popular test option which can be taken by those over 21. It gives you the benefit of training and testing on a large bike gaining a full un-restricted licence.

Passing your test on a smaller bike (125cc) will restrict you to a machine of 33BHP or below for the first two years of riding. So if you want to ride a larger machine straight away, you need to take DAS.

Direct Access training involves going out on the road on a larger bike, such as one of our NEW HONDA CB500's , in continual radio contact with a qualified instructor.

THEORY TEST

We do not book theory tests you must take and pass your motorcyle theory test before we can confirm your details into one of our pre-booked test slots.

A minimum deposit of £60 must be received to secure your test slot.

On road training is charged at £30 per hour

Discounts are available for May and June 2008 when booking courses shown below

(Direct Access training is only available using training bikes unless you have a disability requirement)
